aintreecaravans Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Hi I am new to the forum, i have a relay L3 H2 and the interior lights in the cab and the cargo area have stopped working. I was fitting a reversing camera and had removed the interior light cluster over rear door while fitting camera. Refitted cluster and did the same in the cab while running the cables. Before they where removed they had auto switched off. Now the lights don't work even if you manually switch them on or when the engine is switched off or when unlocking the van. Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks in advance. Robbie Quote
paul.h Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Welcome to the forum. Most likely the fuse for the cab lighting has failed. Possibly a live wire in one of the lights was touched to the bodywork whilst doing the work. I am not sure which year your van is but looking in a handbook for a 2014 model on page 136 it has fuse 32, 10 amp in the passenger's side dash fuse box as being for the cab lighting. If you do not have the handbook you can read/copy/print in sections from here but you may need to select your language first http://service.citroen.com/ddb/ Quote
aintreecaravans Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 Hi Thanks will check the fuse out it is a 2011, is the fuse box on the passager side under the console? Regards Robbie Quote
paul.h Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 In the handbook for a 7/2011 to 2/2012 Relay, it has on page 154 the interior lights fuse in the passenger side dashboard fuse box still as fuse 32 but only 7.5 amps. In the handbook for 3/2010 to 12/2010 on page 143 the fuse is 10 amps. It does not give much info on changing the fuse other than to remove the bolts and tilt the box to access the fuses. I am not familiar with the Relay but there is a picture on page 8 that appears to show the fuse box could be low down at the left end of the dash. The pictures of the fuse box show the fuses are not numbered in any order and fuse 32 is the one in the middle on the 2010 model and on the 2011 model it is second from the left on the lower row of fuses with 10 fuses.
