jopo001 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Hi, New to the forum and couldn't find anything on this already. I would like to adjust the height of the xenon lights a bit higher as they seam too low, have been to a main dealer and asked them to look athrough it as part of the service but their response was that they are as they should be. Comparing them to other cars they seem pretty low and I think they should be illuminating more of the road. How can I adjust the preset level to be higher? I'm aware there have a self leveling system but there must be some way of adjusting them? Citroën just said that they couldn't be height adjusted at all which seems pretty bizarre. ThanksJP Quote
paul.h Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Welcome to the forum. Did the dealer check the light height using a beam setter or just fob you off ? In Citroen's service box procedures there is a bit of confusion since under the adjustment it says it can be done using 2 screws on the back of the lights - but this may refer to normal halogen headlights unless all DS5s have xenons. It also has under xenon bulb replacement that they should be adjusted using diagnostic equipment. Hence they can be adjusted but which method is needed is not clear. Quote
chrisplato Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Hi, I have a 2013 DS5 D Sport and while the xenon lights are brilliant on full beam the dipped is terrible. There is a big black hole where the lights don't penetrate. There must surely be a way to adjust and raise the dipped beam. I see in previous posts that there is confusion about 7 digit post code search on the sat nav. This can be resolved by getting Citroen to carry out the latest updates and then you need to pay out for the latest UK mapping from Citroen. While this gives full post code search it does not allow you to input the road or house number. Have sent emails to Citroen navigation maps (HERE) about this problem, but having taken my money they have now gone all coy and don't reply. Quote
