Hi everyone, newbie here. have a current situation with my citroen c2 vts 1.6

All the lights on the dash lit up and citroen told me that my abs needs replacing.
They cant fix it and they cant find any problems with the wiring.

I went to the breakers and found a pump but i dont wanna buy it unless it will work.
one at breakers numbers are 9655329980 10.0206-0191.4
mine is 9662150480 10.0206-0256.4

i have read somewhere that the first 6 numbers only need to match but i am not sure can anyone maybe shed more light on this?

thanks

Welcome to the forum.

You may be better using the Citroen part number rather than the manufacturer's number on the pump. Use your car VIN and the scrap car VIN in the parts diagrams on  http://service.citroen.com/pages/index.jsp

You may need to select your language and then register as another professional and a member of the Citroen Owners Club, then use your VIN (VIS) top left to find your car. The abs block part numbers all start 4541 and then 2 letters/numbers but there seem to be many different ones depending on the car.

Did Citroen give you the fault code when checking your abs problem ?
