Bearrelay Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Hi all , I have a really annoying knocking noise on the n.s.f of my swb 2003 1800kg relay , I am pretty sure it's coming from the suspension top mounting , it's perfectly fine on a smooth road but on a rough surface its noisy as hell!! sounds to noisy to be a drop link , has anyone experienced similar and does anyone know the correct part number for the top mount and new bearing as there seems to be a few possibilities as with everything Citroen lol  thanks in advance :D Quote
paul.h Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 I had a worn drop link on a C3 and that made a lot of noise over bumps. The wear was noticed during the MOT as an advisory but once disconnected the wear was bad. It had only done around 30k miles. To get the right part number you are best to use your VIN (VIS) in the Citroen parts diagrams on service.citroen which is a free service if you register as another professional and a member of the Citroen Owners Club http://service.citroen.com/pages/index.jsp You may need to select your language first. Use your VIN top left to find your vehicle and then the top mounts can be found under Mechanical / Suspension assembly / Front springs. Quote
