Doris H Van Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Hi We're really pleased to have found this site! We just wanted to introduce ourselves and ask a couple of questions if that's okay. We have a beautiful Citroen H Van circa 1974, which we have converted with a pizza oven. The van came from Valencia - it still has a Valencia tourism sticker in the window! We take it to festivals in the South West of the UK and to weddings and other private parties. And the questions: 1) I think I could have the tyre pressures too high. The tyres on it have inner tubes, and I have been keeping them at about 50 psi given that the wood-fired oven which sits behind cab is heavy. Any advice on this would be very gratefully received. 2) I am told it's painted in in the original Citroen grey and I wondered if anyone knew a colour code for this? Many thanks, Jonathan & Julie Quote
paul.h Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Welcome to the forum. Tyres should have a pressure marked on them as a maximum and you could use this as a guide. The following has some values for pressures http://www.citroenhyonline.co.uk/hy-technical.php Quote
