Hi all, I am after some help please. I have a Citroen c4 2005. About 3 weeks ago we had the anti pollution fault, our garage replaced the coil pack and cleared the code. They checked everything else over and all was fine. We continued to drive the car and the fault came on, stayed for around a week and went off again. Then the next day the fault came back on whilst driving it and a day later the car wouldn't start and so far is still dead! Our garage has recommended replacing the bsm fuse box, he has given me th part number from the one we have to be able to source a new one. Anyway I have searched high and low and I cannot find at match for the part number, apart from one that is in America. I can find other Citroen / Peugeot fuse boxes that appear to have exactly the same layout but with a different part number on it. Does anyone know if I will be able to use this on the car or if I need to source one with exactly the same part number.

Many thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Is it a Citroen garage you are using and if not have they used Citroen specific diagnostics to decide the fuse box is definitely the problem ? Did the garage give you the fault codes that came up when the anti pollution message was given ? If so what are they ?

To check the fuse box Citroen part number you need to look at the parts diagrams which is a free service if you register as another professional and a member of the Citroen Owners Club on service.citroen http://service.citroen.com/pages/index.jsp  Use your VIN (VIS) top left to find your car and then look under Electric unit / General points / Units /connector boards/kits
