Hi all im new to this so please bare with me, I will introduce myself shortly, the car, 2001 citroen synergie hdi, the fault? yesterday whilst indicating left at a junction my indicator suddenly stopped, I thought it was me originally, so checked all other lights and everything was fine, just no indicators, I then checked the hazard lights and the same no lights, it then started working for a few mins and stopped again, I popped out the hazard switch and disconnected it/reconnected it, the problem was still the same, intermittent working not working, now they are not working at all, I have checked all the fuses and removed and refitted them, no difference, checked the power at fuse 26 for hazard lights and there is power there, I have ordered a new flasher/relay as when I press the hazard switch it clicks once and nothing happens, the same with when I press the indicator lever, clicks once and nothing else happens? I have checked the hazard switch and indicator switch with multi meter for continuity and both have continuity, when I lock and unlock the doors the indicators light as they should so all bulbs are fine,

any help on this would be appreciated?

thanks for your help

Welcome to the forum.

I would try the new flasher relay before anything else since your checks suggest these are ok. I do not know where it is located so perhaps you will provide the info after you have replaced it and report back how you got on.

Really sorry I didn't realise I had a reply on this, i can indeed confirm that this fault was down to the flasher relay, this is located in a cluster of 2 relays one is the flasher unit the other is the lights in buzzer, located pretty much where your knees stay whilst in drivers away, undo the plastic panel where yiyr dash illumination and headlight height adjustment switches are and you will see them. Hope this helps,
