I should have confirmed that this is for a 2006 Citroen C8 Diesel Auto transmission

Welcome to the forum.

A quick look at Citroen's service box procedures and parts diagrams does not come up with anything but relays are often built in to fuse boxes or near the battery. If you have the part no. post it on here since it will help with searching. If you find the relay please let us know where is is located.

In the Picasso, according to the Haynes manual, the fuel pump relay is in the engine fuse box. You could check if it is working by using a volt meter on the fuel pump fuse which is between the relay and pump, but still in the engine fuse box. Your handbook will say which fuse it is but Haynes suggests F25 15 amp, although they do change with different model years. With the ignition switched on, check for voltage and if ok then I still suspect the tank will need dropping so the pump can be replaced.
