11esprit Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Just as I fixed the last issue I am now having a new issue with my mk2 C5 138 hdi. There is a lack of low down power and also a permanent depollution faulty message with the check engine light on. I also ocassionally get the ASR/ ESR parking brake faulty but this is only probably once a week. I drive around 500 motorway miles a week so the DPF should be getting cleared. The scanner shows P2084 and P2562 faults but not sure what it points towards. I have ruled out Maf sensor as unplugging makes no difference. I cannot see any vacuum leaks or leaks in the pipes but struggling to diagnose the issue. Quote
paul.h Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 If unplugging the MAF sensor makes no difference then I would think that means it could be faulty since it may be in limp mode. A search suggests it could be the dpf temperature sensor that is faulty http://www.peugeotforums.com/forums/407-41/fault-code-p2084-9428/index2.html for P2084. P2562 suggests it could be something to do with the turbo http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/?t=88917 Quote
