Welcome to the forum.

In your handbook it will give the minimum octane rating of the petrol required. If you go for a higher octane rating the engine will probably perform a bit better since it will not need to retard the timing a bit to prevent pinking. Whether or not you notice any difference to justify the higher cost is a different matter. Tesco themselves suggest you will get better fuel economy of a few per cent when compared to their normal unleaded petrol  https://www.tescopfs.com/our-fuels/tesco-momentum99

Probably not worth the extra cost. All petrol cars have been designed to run on 95 for many years now. 99 octane might be better for old sports cars though (BP Super, Esso Extra etc.... plenty of lead in those fuels!)

Should be ok to use in your car, otherwise Tesco would not be allowed to sell it. A search has some comparisons with other premium fuels and it seems to have been around for a few years so any problems would have come to light by now. If you try it maybe you can come back and give a quick report.

So I filled up with momentum 99 a from the moment I filed up the car felt sharper and abit mo reponsive on the throttle I've just droped down t two bars this morning bearing in mind they say it takes 3 fills to see the benefits I've done 17 more miles than when it normaly drops down as I keep a cheack on this and to say it only cost me 2 pounds more than normal I'm exited to see what it's like after after 3rd fill up
