cthawes Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Hi guys I have a 3/2002 C5 2.0 HDI hatch I have a problem with the left heater flap broken end where the motor goes in I have purchased the flap repair kit 6480E3 the problem is mine has smaller black flat rectangle flaps not the blue and cream ones in the kit can I buy these black flat type of flaps or do I need a new heater box ?? I cant seem to find these flaps on the net any where Quote

This is from the C5 technical section Common Problems topic, item 10 and it may help: In the May 2015 Car Mechanics magazine there is an excellent article by Rob Marshall where he dismantles a 2004 to 2008 C5 heating system with climate control to replace broken heater flaps (the shaft on one had broken completely and the other was breaking). This involves removing the dash and then the heater unit from the car and then fitting new flaps from a dealer (6480E3 for dual zone and 6480E4 for mono system, both £58.53).
