mickrochip Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 howdy every one as you know i am having problems with heater no working, i have had a lexia diagnosis an came up with two fault codes F702, F734 both are showing as permanent faults, can anyone tell me what they are, where the are, and how to fix them thanks for now
paul.h Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 From a Peugeot forum it suggests the P734 is a fault with the blower motor diagnostics signal and the F702 a fault with a humidity sensor. A fix to the poster's problems has not been posted though. http://www.peugeotforums.com/forums/407-41/can-only-get-luke-warm-air-blower-vents-but-hot-air-leaking-somewhere-27784/ Another post about the humidity sensor http://www.peugeotforums.com/forums/407-41/humidity-sensor-12840/ In this topic the F734 and blower not working was found to be a corroded connection to the blower http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=49407
mickrochip Posted June 10, 2016 Author Posted June 10, 2016 thank you for all information on fault codes, i now would like to know where the passenger compartment humidity sensor is so that i can either check its working or to replace with working one thanks
paul.h Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 The humidity sensor will be located similar to the Peugeot one, about in the middle of the dash behind a few small slots. Before you spend too much money/time on fixing the air con, I would have the refrigerant pressure tested to see if there is any left or maybe the diagnostic has already given you the presures. If there is none left, then since the air con has not been used for maybe 6 months it may be very expensive to repair and get it working again and you may just prefer to only get the blower working which might not need the humidity sensor.
