Theoc Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Just bought this car, and am a little overwhelmed by it's technical range.I am really struggling with the SatNav.I just cannot work out how to access and manage personal POI's.I created one and saved it, but I cannot find it.I know I'm not the sharpest chisel in the set, but it beats me!!Can anyone please help a newbie. paul.h Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Welcome to the forum. What year is your car and does it have Navidrive or Myway ? Our 2007 C5 has the Navidrive built in sat nav and looking in the handbook it only seems to use the centres of interest that are already programmed in to it, it does not mention personal POI's. Quote
Theoc Posted July 21, 2016 Author Posted July 21, 2016 Hi,Thanks for the reply. The car was registered in April 2015, but I can find no reference to the sat nav type, either in the car or in the handbook.I entered a post code and saved it with a name I could remember, but then couldn't find. Repeated the exercise and told "Already Exists" - but where ??If I select contacts it links to my mobile phone. Hmm gives me a thought maybe I'll spend the evening putting postcodes into phone and see if that works. If I can I'll update this post in case it is useful to others. Quote
paul.h Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 I have just looked at the handbook for your car on the service.citroen site http://service.citroen.com/ddb/ and your sat nav is a lot more complicated than the Navidrive one in our C5. On the Navidrive to find an address already used you simply go to select destination, then previous destinations and they are listed so you can choose one. Citroen sat navs have not used post codes previously so this is an improvement for your car. Quote
seefive Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Have you tried looking in the directory? This holds phone numbers and sat nav destinations in a single alphabetical listing.. Quote
Theoc Posted July 28, 2016 Author Posted July 28, 2016 Thanks everyone,I think I've finally worked it out (partly an IDtenT problem)Sat Nav not as good as the Volvo though. Quote
