Is this realistic please ... published figure are much better (aren't they always).

New car so I probably messed around a bit testing out it's performance, high acceleration and high speed a couple of times, tried out cruise control, in this weather had aircon on high most of the time, but didn't think these things would make this much difference, any observations please ?

Many thanks Rogery

Let's hope so Paul ... it's the new 1.2 Puretech. I know published figures are rubbish but "What Car" said this:

"We're driving the new petrol, which compared with our old favourite 1.4, improves CO2 emissions by 30g/km, now down to 115g/km, and official combined fuel economy is better by more than 11mpg, now 56.5mpg"

On our cars the trip computer is reset by holding in the button on the end of the wiper stalk. It may pay to do this before a run to see what you are getting and then any earlier trips testing the car or possibly moving the car around the dealer will not be included.
