Welcome to the forum.

Diesels were not required to be OBD compliant until 2004 and the C5 seems to be a car that does not work on all code readers. You may need to use a Citroen specific reader such as the Lexia used by dealers but cheap Chinese copies can be bought to install on a pc. Also look in the car handbook for the fuses in case one for the 16 pin socket is missing.

Thanks Paul,I have been through the fuse boxes, and checked all the fuses i can find, without it making any difference. So i guess i will just have to invest in a Lexia.

i will let you all know how i get on.-To Be Continued
