I have a citreon xsara picasso 2l diesel 2004 model..

The window was sticking when it got so far down, so me and a friend decided to try pulling it up while pressing the up button... however we seemed to have pulled it of the track/rail or whatever it is on... Now the window just drops and i have to jam it closed with some paper........ when I press the up and down button I can hear motor for window going... So just wondering how I get it back on track.... A video tutorial would be great but I cant seem to find one!!!

The Haynes manual shows the glass is held at the bottom by plastic clips so probably these have broken and need replacing. The cable that moves the glass up and down may also need replacing. To get to it the door card needs removing. Repair kits are on ebay such as this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/for-Citroen-Xsara-Picasso-1999-2004-Front-Right-Window-Regulator-Repair-Kit-/231279325338?hash=item35d952709a:g:HccAAOSwAuZX16TH

This may show you what needs to be done but I have not watched it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEuqCmla9zY
