Frank Bayley Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 They certainly don't make the drop link bushes to last nowadays, My C3 Picasso has only just done 17000 miles and was banging and clattering from the front and was diagnosed with drop link bush wear, these have now been replaced and the car is now much quieter but I think for them to wear out in such a short time is rather bad, anyone else have a comment? paul.h Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 I had to replace them on our 2003 C3 when on 36k miles at 7 years old and on our 2010 C3 at 42k miles and 6 years old but these did not seem that bad once off the car. The bushes in them seem to be plastic so maybe they are not designed to last but at least they do not cost much and only take a few minutes to replace. Quote
Rookie2 Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Here in Cornwall we have a glut of Speed Humps, drop links are a very common problem down here, especially when people fit the now common plastic ones which flex and ping off. Quote
