Richiejh Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 When I first got my X7 I set the central locking to open the drivers door then the other doors on the second press. My wife really doesn't like it so I want to change it but I can't find the menu to alter it. I'm sure it was in vehicle parameters, comfort, plip action but when I go to the parameters menu there is no option for comfort anymore. Any ideas? Quote
paul.h Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 You appear to be doing the right things but I do not know why the comfort menu has gone. Are you accessing it by using the steering wheel button as on page 23 in the handbook ? This is from p64 of the handbook:Selective unlocking using theremote controlï† Press the open padlockonce to unlock the driver’sdoor only.ï† Press the open padlock again tounlock the other doors and theboot.According to version, the exteriormirrors unfold at the same time asthe fi rst unlocking action. The complete or selective unlockingparameter is set via the instrumentpanel screen confi guration menu(see "Instruments and controls" section).Complete unlocking is activated bydefault.Selective unlocking is not possibleusing the key. Each unlocking is confi rmed byrapid fl ashing of the direction indicatorsfor approximately two secondsand by switching on of the courtesylamp. From page 24 of the handbook it does say the unlocking is from the Comfort menu: "Comfort" menuOnce you have selected this menu, you can:ï† Activate/deactivate the driver'swelcome lighting function.ï† Select the unlocking of all thedoors or just the driver's door. Activate/deactivate the automaticengaging of the electric parkingbrake. Quote
Richiejh Posted March 3, 2017 Author Posted March 3, 2017 I've used the steering wheel buttons, with the doors locked & unlocked, also with the ignition on then with the engine running but still no comfort menu. I get vehicle parameters then 'lighting and signalling' and 'driving assistance' but no comfort options. Quote
