When I first got my X7 I set the central locking to open the drivers door then the other doors on the second press. My wife really doesn't like it so I want to change it but I can't find the menu to alter it.

I'm sure it was in vehicle parameters, comfort, plip action but when I go to the parameters menu there is no option for comfort anymore.

Any ideas?

You appear to be doing the right things but I do not know why the comfort menu has gone. Are you accessing it by using the steering wheel button as on page 23 in the handbook ?

This is from p64 of the handbook:

Selective unlocking using the

remote control

ï†

Press the open padlock

once to unlock the driver’s

door only.

ï†

Press the open padlock again to

unlock the other doors and the

boot.

According to version, the exterior

mirrors unfold at the same time as

the fi rst unlocking action.

The complete or selective unlocking

parameter is set via the instrument

panel screen confi guration menu

(see "Instruments and controls" section).

Complete unlocking is activated by

default.

Selective unlocking is not possible

using the key.

Each unlocking is confi rmed by

rapid fl ashing of the direction indicators

for approximately two seconds

and by switching on of the courtesy

lamp.

From page 24 of the handbook it does say the unlocking is from the Comfort menu:

"Comfort" menu

Once you have selected this menu,

you can:

ï†

Activate/deactivate the driver's

welcome lighting function.

ï†

Select the unlocking of all the

doors or just the driver's door.

Activate/deactivate the automatic

engaging of the electric parking

brake.

I've used the steering wheel buttons, with the doors locked & unlocked, also with the ignition on then with the engine running but still no comfort menu. I get vehicle parameters then 'lighting and signalling' and 'driving assistance' but no comfort options.
