Afternoon,

I just wanted to let you know of a fix, probably on here but I couldn't find anything definite. So my C5 since purchasing has ridden what I thought was to high at the front. Suspension would go up and down properly but would sit at 755mm from ground to arch. I know this is not the most accurate measurements but it's the easiest I could do in the time I had to investigate, anyway I put it up on ramps and found the sensor and clamp, all looked OK. I decided to mark it as it was and move it to lower the drop to the 700mm height that I've found on line, I undid the bolt and moved it back and forth and lined it back up with the marks I made started engine and went in side the house to get my tape measure. When I came out the car had dropped to the 700mm. I tighted the bolt and jacked it to full height to look properly and it was still on the same marks. Put car and ground and went through the cycle up and down for a few go's and works perfectly sits at correct height. So just thought I post as it could be just a sticking sensor. Although bit confused why it would go all the way down but then on normal ride height would sit high. But all good now, just need to test drive on some sleeping policemen and see if the very loud bang has gone.
