whatsup Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 My C4 Picasso VTR+ spare wheel has a 50 mph sticker on it,but the tyre has exactly the same markings as the other four tyres,eg speed /weight/size etc. Although the wheel is marked use at max 50 mph,is it in order to do normal speeds with this combination of wheel(steel) and tyre? paul.h Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Is it a normal size wheel and not a space saver ? If so maybe a previous owner has replaced a space saver wheel with a normal steel one and tyre but put the 50 sticker on it. Quote
whatsup Posted May 15, 2017 Author Posted May 15, 2017 Thanks for your reply.I have had this car from new,so the wheel and tyre came straight from the showroom, and they were both obviously new. Quote
paul.h Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Sounds as if the 50 sticker is a mistake or was already on the wheel before the tyre was put on. Problem you have is if you use the wheel and the sticker is visible then you could have problems if going above 50 and are noticed by traffic police. Can the sticker be removed ? On one of the door pillars will be a sticker with the tyre pressures and tyre sizes - does this give anything different for the spare compared to the other wheels ? Quote
