dhylly Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Helloc4 GP exclusive 2008, 99k miles. 1.6hdi The suspension began sinking on my car (above), so took it to Citroen dealer who has diagnosed 'leaking airbags'. When I spoke to citroen customer care they told me leaking air bags would be covered by the Watchdog issue (where C pay 80%) of the fix cost). The dealers claim that my leaking airbags are not covered.... so where do I go from here? Everything on the www says that it should be covered, citroen said it should be covered, the dealers say they spoke to citroen and it is not covered. Help! is there a specific criteria / exclusions? No one seems to know / want to tell me. Quote
paul.h Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Welcome to the forum. There is some info here where it has 10 years or 120k miles as the cut off criteria for the 80% contribution. http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citroen/topic/21543-watchdog-questions-citroen-about-c4-suspension-issue/page-0 You still appear to qualify so I would try to get Citroen to give you something in writing that you can use with your dealer. dhylly Posted June 26, 2017 Author Posted June 26, 2017 thanks.. everything I can find does say I should qualify. Citroen have now said I should get a second opinion... seriously? I should of thought that there approved dealers should know what they are doing.Ridiculous! Quote
