delart Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Hi my nsf lower bush is knocking seems I need a Sealey VSE4785 are these any good anybody bought one/used one haven't got a press so seems the only way to go? Quote
paul.h Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I have not done this job or used this tool, but if it is just to draw a bush out, could you not make something up using a threaded bar/nuts/washers/sockets/old bearing shells/even bits of wood ? Just seems a lot of money for a one off job. Threaded bar is only a pound or so from Toolstation, as well as nuts and washers. I have put your car info as your signature from one of your previous posts. You can edit this if you go to your profile. Quote
delart Posted August 14, 2017 Author Posted August 14, 2017 Tell me but have already tried with a bit of all thread and sockets but the all thread was only soft so it stripped the thread and bent it. Quote
paul.h Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 You will need high tensile rod, how about this https://www.orbitalfasteners.co.uk/en/products/m10-x-1m-high-tensile-grade-10-9-studding-threaded-rod-steel-self-colour-din-975?utm_medium=google_shopping&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=google_shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMInfirgOjW1QIVzbXtCh094ALmEAUYBCABEgL1BfD_BwE Quote
