Hi, nothing on my instrument panel is working on my c5 (2004). Just stopped completely earlier - car still runs fine but can't drive it now as don't know what speed I'm doing or what fuel I've got left etc!

Can anyone help? I've checked the fuses in the glovebox - all ok

Just to update, I've got the power back to the unit. Took the instrument panel out and the plug was loose. Speed and revs still not working though :( anyone have any ideas?

If you have a code reader with live data, you could plug it in and see what speed/rpm the car is giving. If you then have values for these on the reader, it suggests the problem is with the instrument panel/wiring/connector and not elsewhere.

If you turn the ignition key so the dash lights up do the speedo/rev counter needles flicker which is normal ? It is a common fault for the needles to come loose, I had this and glued the speedo needle back on. This is from the C5 Common Problems pinned topic

19. Speedometer stops working.

The motor at the back of the speedo can be replaced to fix this - see http://www.citroen-o...ometer-repairs/
