Welome to the forum.

The brake pedal pivots on a bolt with bushes. It might just need the bolt/nut tightening or possibly the bushes replacing. This might then also fix the brake light switch problem. You will need to look up at the pedal from the driver's footwell to see it and may need to remove the cover under the fascia if it is in the way.

The brake light switch might also need adjusting. According to the Haynes manual the lights should come on after the pedal has moved about 5 mm. If not, unscrew the switch locking ring, remove the electrical plug, then screw the switch in the bracket until the gap between the end of the main body of the switch and the lug on the brake pedal is 2 to 3 mm, connect the plug and test the switch and if ok tighten the locking ring.
