stabbyjoe287
Let me tell you a long and winded story. ( 2012 2.2 Puma engined Relay). Went into limp mode, pointing to EGR fault code. Replaced valve. No Difference. Replaced DPFE sensor. No difference. Took to garage. Garage man said "you need your new egr valve coded into ecu", which he did. No difference. Unplugged EGR. Van ran perfectly. Skip to today, 300 miles later. Out in van, limp mode again. Got home, plugged-in OBD reader. Along with the egr codes, which I expected, as It's currently unplugged, its now thrown-up a new one P0234. This pertains to TURBO A OVERBOOST CONDITION. Since you tube has obviously removed any videos about fixing the most popular van in the UK, I was unable to find any info on this fault occuring on this vehicle. I was wondering if anybody here has had this particular fault code and resolved it. Thanks. Virtual pint for any sensible answers.
paul.h
Check any control hoses/pipes to the egr and see if there are any holes/splits giving a slight vacuum leak. You could also see if the brake servo vacuum is lost overnight which might show a vacuum leak.
