paul.h Posted January 27, 2022 Share Posted January 27, 2022 With the key in the ignition if a door is opened, do you get a warning beep ? If not the car might not be recognising the key so the immobiliser is stopping the engine starting by preventing the fuel being injected. You could also try something like easy start but that would not show if the immobiliser was preventing it working. If the battery is a bit flat the engine might not be turning over fast enough to start, you should check its voltage, 12.7 is charged but less than about 12.3 volts and it is flat. If there is a hand fuel pump under the bonnet this can be used to prime the fuel filter in case it has drained back.
