Ciaran2903 Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Dont you loose abs after a while of very hard driving? Maybe he is ragging the hell out of the car!?! :P Im just kidding, i am sure you would have to drive like an idiot to loose abs on the roads, or just in general! :P Dont really know, was there are recall for the braking system for particular cars? hertsnminds Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 As you have both the ABS and ESP lights on then it must be something common to both systems, 1 of the 4 wheel sensors or just a loose wire or connector to 1 of the sensors maybe. If it only happens after the car has been used for a while that would suggest something that is changing with temperature, again a metal connector that expands and gets loose. If the Citroen garage diagnostic told them which sensor was reporting the fault then I would check all the wires to the sensor and the sensor reporting a problem. IanBlack 55 VTR+ Quote

pup Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 I recently had my c4 diesel 2012 in to Formula 1 Autocentre for two new front tyres and wheel alignment ajustment. Apparently heat was used to loosen track rod ends and long story short when I got the car back the eps warning light comes on most times when driving for five mins or so. I am wondering if the eps system is connected to front brakes in any way that my of been affected by the heat of the blow torch?. Quote
paul.h Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 The garage could have damaged the wiring for one of the front wheel abs sensors which are used in the esp/abs systems. To check you may need to remove the front wheels. Quote
