Guest Speedy Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I have a l reg petrol and sometimes I can jump in and punch in code and away it goes sometimes when im in a hurray i have to punch code in maybe 20 times before it'll start any clues or is there a code i can use to overide it Or better Still is there anyway I can do away with the keypad as its a nuisance and not needed up here where cars dont get stolen Quote
Johndouglas Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Although I've owned Xantias, I've never had one with a keypad. AFAIK the code is programmed into the fuel pump. Change the fuel pump and your code won't work. If the keypad is removed, there is a hardened plate on the fuel pump which needs to be removed to disconnect the wiring. The plate is fitted with shear bolts as a theft measure. Quote
