Tyre Pressure

Hi there,

I have a Citroen C3 SX.

I can't seem to find the tyre pressure label that tells me what the pressure should be. It says its on the drivers door pillar. Not exactly sure what the door pillar is but I've looked all around and can't see any label.

Anyone know where the label might be or indeed what the tyre pressure should be?

Thanks for your help!

When the manual says drivers side remember this was written for the french. So the label is actually on the passengers side for UK cars. If you look at the pillar near the hinge of the front passengers door you should see the label. Mine says 2.1 bar for the front tyres and 2.3 bar for the rear under light loading. It doesn`t give the lbs/inch mesasurement fortunately I have a digital pen that can be switched to different units of measurement. You might want to invest in one of these.

I found it on the passenger side. Stupid for not looking there!

To convert bar to psi multiply bar by 14.5 e.g.

2.1 bar = 30.5 psi

2.3 bar = 33.5 psi

2.5 bar = 36 psi

2.7 bar = 39 psi.

Thank you for your conversions. I couldn't find the plate either. Have just picked up my new car from Citroen to find all tyres inflated to 44psi!!! The plate quotes 2.1 Bar all round for a Citroen C3 Cool. I've now got a digital Bar/PSI guage and put tyres to correct pressures
