Guest pburns Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Hi,I have had the antipollution fault and catalytic converter warning. I have read some of the advice and would like to know how to find the EGR return pipe and the inlet air-valve. I have got a C5 2.0l Petrol from 2001. Thanks in anticipation. Paul Quote
paul.h Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 I have not seen a C5 petrol engine but the Exhaust Gas Recycle pipe is likely to be connected between the cylinder head exhaust manifold and the air inlet manifold/piping. There is probably a valve on it that opens to let exhaust gases into the inlet to reduce the burning temperature in the cylinders and hence reduce the NOx emissions in the exhaust. Quote
