dtbsz Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Does anybody know how I can turn off the seatbelt alarm?
kfk Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Does anybody know how I can turn off the seatbelt alarm? Well seeing as the switch for the seatbelt alarm is inside the seatbelt stalk the easiest way would be to put your seat belt on! The cheapest way to turn it off if you have a phobia for wearing seatbelts would be to go down the breakers yard with a knife and find a suitable buckle from a peugeot/citroen that fits......it can be removed if you need to fit the seat belt and left in when you dont.....the added advantage with this is it isnt a permenant dissablement. You might find a dealer that will turn it off for you....but expect to pay £30 upwards if they are willing.

Purgatory Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Does anybody know how I can turn off the seatbelt alarm? Quite simply push the button on the belt stalk on floor
iannez Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 cut and srip the wires that run down the side of the stalk and solder them together.
Drumstick Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Why would you want to turn it off ??? Does anybody know how I can turn off the seatbelt alarm?
Ronin Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 He probably can't type a reply anymore after a collision while not wearing a seat belt maybe???? ;) One of my pet hates amongst many: Not wearing seatbeltsWomen applying make up while drivingUsing mobiles while drivingKids not secure in the back of a carPeople who never check their lights regulary for knackered bulbsDrivers who wait until their tyres are thread bare until they get them changed.I can go on and on...... Great, drive how you want to, overtake to get one car ahead at the next junction... Pretend that your'e Lewis Hamilton with your ass on fire and the water bucket is back at home!!!!!! but please, please do it safely as possible for yourself aswell as others. :P
stimulator Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 I note that the original poster didn't answer as to why he wants it turned OFF. Maybe he ended up as a statistic.
