Brake Vacuum Pump Recall

Just to advise there is a recall on the above . Mine's a 2006 C5 2.0 Hdi 6 speed manual Exclusive Estate

 

Seems they are being replaced to ensure our safety

 

As this is Citroen , does this mean it must be serious ?

service updates and Recalls are all serious, some have safety implications and others may cause the failure of a vehicle whilst in use, which whilst not necessarilly dangerous may cause inconvenience to the owner when it grinds to a halt.

 

If Citroen notify you of a recall safety or otherwise it should be treated as serious and not left till your next service.

 

I loose count of the number of times a customer asks if it's important.....if its not important they're not going to send you a letter or call you in to get it fixed.

It was worded as a urgent recall so I've had it done
