coastline taxis Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 Hi replaced 4 valves after belt snaping now car struggling to idle reves up loveley. job was done right as ive done them before. So plugged into scanner went to live data and it says that both o2 sensors before and after cat are "not ready" so i know thats me problem but having checked wiring and fuses all ok took both sensor out cleaned them even swapped them from a different c5 and they work in other car. Any suggestions pleasesteve forgot to mention car was bought with snapped belt so dont know if the fault was already there or not Quote
techbod Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 depending on the fault code? the o2 sensors are doing their job so its down to airflow/fuel feed/split pipes in the vacuum pipes or even a vacuum pipe has come off which would effect the idle? split vacuum pipe or air leak ( too much air getting sucked in ) Quote
