OK, the Bedouin I've just aquired has already had a GS engine fitted to it along with gearbox and brake calipers. A colleague has advised that although the electrics shouldn't be too bad to adapt, the difference between the brakes isn't worth the hassle. On top of that because the engine is mounted quite far forward, the drive shafts are at an unnatural angle, raising worries about early failure and as can be seen from the photo, the front end sits uncomfortably close to the floor. Is it worth perservering with the GS engine or should I drop an original 602 lump back in?

Any thoughts please?
