tubbs Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 HiIam a new member and I wonder if any one can help. I have a 2000 XM Exclusive V6 3.0 litre petrol Auto a magnificent car but it has developed a problem. When starting from cold car starts no problem but after running for a short while it dies normally as you are pulling off normally starts again instantlly, but it can be a problem if you are pulling out of a side road, especially as its an auto you have to stop and place it in park to restart. Have had it to a Citroen specialist they cannot find a problem. Any advice great fully accepted.Tubbs Quote

kfk Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Early model XM's suffered with poor fuel pump connections under the LHM tank. in which case the wiring for the pump needs to be cut from the connector and rejoined outside of it. Quote
