PICASSOCONVERT Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I have just reconnected the front passenger door electric window on my son's 2001 C5 2.2HDi SX estate and noticed that there appeared to be an unused pair of wires with a white connector on the end just hanging loose in the door. Does anyone know if they should be connected anywhere on the SX model, because we couldn't see an unused socket anywhere in the door? The window/mirror/temperature sensor/central locking are now working fine. Thanks for any information. Quote
pragmatix Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Its the same on my SX, i presume its for the auto tilt on the passenger miror when you engage reverese, as the SX doesnt have that facility, its all I can think of. Pete Quote
techbod Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 that's true with most cars today because the only make the one wiring loom to fit them all so you have plenty there that go nowhere or can be used for adding the missing bits Quote

And if you check them youl see there live so if you want a cheap upgrade just add the lights Quote
