72dudes Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Current model: 2 ltr 236/20002.2 ltr 273/1750 Just to add to the confusion!! as RB is quoting Nm and JD is quoting ft/lbs which is still more widely used in the UK Pre 20042.0 HDi 184 (110bhp engine)2.2 HDi 234 (136bhp engine) Post 2004 and current model2.0 HDi 236 (138 bhp engine)2.2 HDi 273 (173 bhp emgine) Quote
Johndouglas Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 European measurement of torque is the Newton metre (Nm), the UK method of measurement is pounds/feet. As usual in Britain we have confusion between metric and Imperial measurements, so both are in use. Maybe what you use gives a hint to your age! ;) However, to convert one to the other 1 lb/ft = 1.356Nm.So: 236lbs/ft = 320Nm273lbs/ft = 370Nm 255Nm = 188lbs/ft317Nm = 233lbs/ft Quote
