anit999 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I need a spare key for my 2006 Citroen Relay. The only key I have at the moment is the flip type blip 2 button remote key. I am either going to buy another flip type remote key or a standard transponder key with no buttons. But the dealer wants about £40 labour to program it and they need the van there too. Is this something I can do myself? Does anyone have any instructions to do this? The Citroen Relay van is identical to the Peugeot Boxer and the Fiat Ducato so maybe the key programming is by Peugeot or Fiat methods? Quote
techbod Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 it has to be programed no other way round it Quote
anit999 Posted September 3, 2008 Author Posted September 3, 2008 Thanks for reply. Would different dealers charge different prices? Quote
techbod Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 no they shouldn't because its Citroen PLC and if they do then search for the cheapest price and they have to comply with it or beat it Quote
anit999 Posted September 3, 2008 Author Posted September 3, 2008 Is it possible to reprogram used keys? Here is one I found on ebay:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CITROEN-RELAY-REMOTE...p3286.m20.l1116 Also I found this new transponder key on ebay:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Citroen-Relay-Transp...p3286.m20.l1116 would a dealer be able to program that. I have the key code card with the electronic and mechanical code. Quote
