ABT Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Hi. I have an 03 reg Citroen C3 1.4hdi. My car has been into a Citroen dealership getting a spare key coded. On my bill, they've noted that the near side front strut mount bearing is noisy. Any ideas what noise I should be hearing as all seems to be relatively quiet while I'm driving. Also, would this affect the car passing its MOT as it's due in a couple of weeks. Is it a fairly simple job for any garage or would I be best getting it done at the Citroen dealership? Any advice would be appreciated. Quote
paul.h Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 If it is the one at the top of the shock absorber/strut where it joins the body, to hear it you will need to lift the bonnet and turn the steering wheel so the bearing is moved. Quote
