Sos! Sos! Wipers Windscreen Wash

let me dive straight the wipers dont seem to work when the stick is pulled towards the driver. the water in the reservoir is also not squirted off onto the windshield.... cant hear any pump kicking in when i pull the stalk and why does atleast the wipers not move. this only happens on trying to clear the windscreen and seems to be working on all speeds as it should. oh i forgot this is a 2002 c5 LX

Does the rear wash/wipe work - I think the pump may be the same for front and back but turns in opposite directions (if I am wrong somebody will correct me). Check if the pump fuse is ok since the wash starts before the wipe so if the wash does not work then maybe the wipe will not start. Fuse location should be in the handbook.
