norm7171551 Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 I had a product recall notice on Friday "to replace a component of the braking assistance circuit....to guarantee the long-term reliability of the braking assist function". Just thought I'd let you know! Quote

Just thought I'd let you know! Righ, booked this about three weeks ago with Citroen for the Cardiff main dealer to be do the recall work, but they have rung to cancel today stating that that dealer doesn't do C6's! A little disappointing on the customer service side, methinks! Quote
techbod Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I know its a bit late to answer but a recall regardless of where you live is a law and has to be abided by any dealer Quote
norm7171551 Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 I know its a bit late to answer but a recall regardless of where you live is a law and has to be abided by any dealer I thought that as well. The work still hasn't been done as the nearest Citreon garage that would do it (and where I bought the car) is in receivership / administration and the work has not been possible there due to no parts / no courtesy car etc. Just as well it's not urgent! There was also a second recall connected with tyre changing instructions and apparently will get letter on that soon. Quote
