hp10a10 Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 My car is C5 2007 break diesel. Both of parklight bulbs in front are broken. Has anyone succesfully replaced them? I tried to figure out how to remove old bulb? I had to use mirror when I took a look to the connector but I have no idea how to remove old bulb and socket on it? Do I have to turn socket or just pull it out? Thanks in advance!! Quote
Johndouglas Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 You'll need to remove the cover on the driver's side and easier on the n/s if you lift out the battery. The two large rubber bungs are the head and dipped beams and the one at the top with the finger grip is the trafficator. The small bung is the sidelamp. Prise it out and there's a clip holding the bulb. Quote
DaveHerns Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 You have to do it by feel and patience When you are about to give up the bulb will slip in It's good training for being a gynaecologist Quote
MikeLane Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 I needed to replace both sidelamp bulbs. Took the battery out and (just) managed the N/S bulb then read the Haynes manual for the driver's side and it says "turn the bulbholder anti-clockwise and remove".There's virtually no space to do this so what tool do I need PLEASE.
