Saxo Window Winder Handle

Hi

 

I need to remove the door skin of my w reg saxo forte to replace the door stay,

can anyone tell me how to remove the window winder handle

also is it just a straight bolt off bolt on for the door stay

im sure the handle just pulls of but check between the handle and the door card to see if it has a clip, the door strap is just a bolt off but thin hands might be helpful

They pull off - but - turn the handle so that you can use two broad screwdrivers on the spindle end, one on either side. Apply equal pressure on both sides and the handle will fly of the splined shaft. The plastic breaks very easily. What has happened to the stay? They don't usually come adrift.

Hi thanks for that I'll give it a go

as for the stay its making a grinding sound

when I open/shut the door,I have greased it up

but it does not seem to help
