Hi all,

I have a 2001 C5 V6.

In the last couple of weeks, I've recently noticed a knocking/tapping noise when I am turning right eg: at a roundabout. I have not noticed it when turning left.

Had a look under the car and can not see anything loose or wrapped around the wheels.

I was worried it could be something to do with the active suspension, but it still rises and lowers as it should with no unusal noise.

I'm out of ideas.

Can anyone suggest whether this is likely to be a serious problem?

Thanks in advance.

Paul

Thanks for the quick reply "randombloke".

Are we talking a lot of money here - what sort of cost am I looking at in your opinion?

The car is due its MOT next month, is this something that a non-citroen garage could repair/replace?

Its not a MOT failure .But when it goes altogether then your car will not move anywhere, Non citreon cv joints are £60 to £70 and take about a hour to do. Phone the dealer for a price as they might have a offer on them you never know. fitting is easy and probally a D.I,Y if your into that

Thanks for that I'll give them a call when I get back home next week.
