Maddersc5 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 My C5 diesel has just clocked up 80000 miles its an 04 model , should it be due an 80000 mile service and would that include a new cambelt ? Thanks Quote
Johndouglas Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Autodata suggest cambelt should be changed at 80K but add that Citroen put it at 100K unless the car is used at 'extreme' conditions. Best advice would be to get it changed now - together with water pump and pulleys. Might also be advisable to change the auxilary belt at the same time. Quote

I'd agree and say have the belt done at the 84/87.5k service, whatever it is, especially if it is a 2.2 or a 16 valve 2.0 HDi. Quote
