Rear Wiper Blade - Mk 2 Hatchback

Hi

Finally got back on the site - was getting withdrawal symptoms!

 

Anyone know how to change a rear blade on a Mk2?

Front ones couldn't be easier - side lock system, but the back one's got me beat

 

Just want to know for future reference - don't ned to change anything now. Haynes doesn't help

Is this the new shape model ? Normally the arm just unclips from the blade

On mine I pulled the rubber out and fitted a length cut from a Tesco's wiper blade

It bends enough to be fed into the middle

It's a 2008 hatch back - the facelift version.

The arm doesn't have a conventional hook design, nor is it the newer "sidelock" type which I have on the front. The blade is semi-concealed by the arm. It looks like there's some sort of clip holding it inside the arm, but I'm afraid of breaking it..

Do you mean the new shape c5 or is yours one of the last of the old shape (even though its still a new car)

Got it! Just put your finger behind the blade and lever it out - click fit on a round bar built into the arm
