Hi all,

I have just bought a late 2005 (06 model) C3 from a main dealer, and didn't notice the lack of rear head restraints. I have queried this with the dealer and they inform me that they where not standard issue on this model. I find this unusual, I am sure that in a rear-end shunt my passengers may be injured by their absence, and cannot imagine that Citroen would risk this. The holes are there for them to fit into, and my questions are:

1. Is this legit' or am I being fobbed off.

2. If it is so, then where can I buy a set, I have googled without success, and Ebay shows none, and Citroen uk doesn't seem to have a spare parts section to the website.

Many thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

You have to get at least the SX model to have the rear head rests as standard. I would imagine your dealer could order you some new ones or try scrap yards for used ones.

Thanks Paul, I'm glad you have confirmed that for me, but I am surprised as I would imagine the insurance Companies must dread the inevitable whiplash claims from folks in the rear.Still, I do like the car and will try the dealer for a set.

Cheers.
