Turbofan Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 There isn't a recent thread about tyres that I could find, so here goes. I bought a 2009 C5 exclusive, with 17000 miles, a couple of months back, to replace mmy high mileage C5 (Mk1) SX, and noticed at the time the front tyres were a millimetre or two off the wear bars. I don't like to have tyres that are too thinly treaded so I thought I'd do a search on replacements. I could not believe it when I found the Michelin Premacy HP (225/55 R17 W97) tyres were £202 from a mainstream dealer and the cheapest I could find them was £190. I had to check to make sure this wasn't for two! ( £800< for a full set!! )Tyres for my old (Mk1) C5 were under £100. Well, astonishment over. My question is... Does anyone know of another tyre that suits the latest C5 that is safe, lasts well and doesn't break the bank? Your input will be appreciated. Cheers Turbofan Quote

Randombloke Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Have a look on Black Cirles web site. You can opt for a fitted locally or delivered price. Quote
Johndouglas Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 In the past I've used Kumho tyres on my C5 and I've found them good and reasonably priced. Your size on the Value-tyres website they do them for £121 a corner. You buy online and choose a fitting centre near to you. Quote
