Sounds like motors, but here's one option on the front wipers. Daughter used her wipers during ice/snow first thing in the moring and the stopped working. You could hear the motor working Ok. By taking off the black trim once the bonnet was open, it was clear that the metal rods were bent due to the motor pushing against the frozen blades. I re-bent them back into shape, and they are still working perfectly after 9 months use. Why did the fuse not burn out first when the motor was under extreme load, you may ask. I have no idea, but if your motor is working (you don't say)but the blades don't work, try my fix first.

The aircon might be just be needing topped up as they all loose coldness after 4/5 years. It's the same fan system, from memory, for heating/cooling or A/C, and if this is all OK then it's most likely to be the refrigeration fluid which is required £30/£50-ish.

Headlamps are sealed units, Is there a minute crack letting in condensation?

My C3 54 Plate Exclusive had a 1.4 engine not a 1.6, by the way! Don't thinl they uprated to 1.6 until 2005 or 2006. The engine cover should show it clearly AND the V5, And on the drivers doorside panel.

it is a 1.6l 16v

would re-gassing the air con make it blow out again as there is no air at all coming through and no noise from the motor.

i only got the car last nite so havent had a look unde the engine and its raining at the moment so dont fancy getting wet.

Condensation in the headlamp could be the rear bulb cover not being put back properly. If so, you will need to remove the cover for some time for the unit to dry out before refitting.
