Guest cholyo Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I'm hoping someone maybe able to help/advise? We own a 1.4 Citroen C3 HDI (Diesel) which has started to cutout and almost stall on its own. This occurs at junctions / slow speeds and usually if the fan blower and with cluth engaged. Just wondering if the power consumption from the fan etc, is too much for the engine to cope at idle? Would this be more likely to be the battery, ECU clutch management, alternator? Any thoughts? has anyone had anything like this? Thanks in advance Colin Quote
Guest jamesc4228 Posted October 19, 2010 Posted October 19, 2010 Does it struggle to start at all? i have just had one of these in the garage with a similar fault and it was drawing air in through a chaffed fuel pipe just underneath the air filter box . The air box is awkward to get out but the pipe is clear to see when it's removed, connected to the in port of the fuel filter (rear port) Quote
